Picked up my first AP! - 15550ST

Received a text from my SA that they had a grey dial 15550ST available for me. I've been waiting patiently for about a year and I'm glad they were able to deliver. I expressed interest in both the blue dial and grey dial but with the expectation that as my first AP the blue dial would be nearly impossible.

I still can't stop staring at this watch and enjoying it catch the light.

I did notice that the box did not include a manual or any other paperwork besides the Warranty Card. Curious if this the norm with more recent pickups. If it's supposed to come with one I'll reach out to my SA.

I think I’d take that over the blue. Nice pickup.

Congrats on the incoming OP.

Agree with this. The blue dials on the 37mm make it look smaller than it is. The gray blends in nicely and makes the 37mm visually look bigger so it's more versatile IMO.

Congratulations! AP no longer provides paper manuals! What is your wrist size? Post some wrist photos!

Must be an amazing feeling to get your text!

One year ….. good to know.
I’m patiently waiting myself , I’m happy to hear that the wait paid off for you.

I’ve decided on the grey deal over the blue for the sizing comments above. The blue is magnificent but I suspect I will be happier with the grey in the long run.

Enjoy, I look forward to seeing more wrists shots.

Congrats! I have a friend who owns one of the 50th anniversary piece in this exact same configuration and he got bored of the grey dial - too monochromatic for him. He is looking at selling it but it's not as easy apprently.

Congratulations! I have the same configuration and it works so well with different clothing items due to the monochromatic appearance.

Love it! The grey really is a sleeper color of the line up... No one really wants one until you see it in person but IMO it's one of the top three colors
