Depends on the boutique but the large flagship ones will get 40-50 a year

I would say ~2 or 3 of each color but I could be wrong. Maybe it is for gold ones

Pretty plugged in with my boutique. 15510ST and 26240ST are not as scarce as many believe. II believe as many as they are, they are all accounted for hence someone with a newer relationship or someone's that's developing their relationship will have to play the game.

Pretty accurate assessment IMO.

I do know that this reference (and its predecessor) is very, very hard to be allocated as a first piece and that even the AP staff cannot buy one through their own staff purchase scheme too……and it’s probably the most sought after (after a Jumbo of course) AP by the wider watch buying crowd.

Certainly the case here in the UK 🇬🇧

When I got my 15500 black at the AP store (not AP house) I was told they were getting 3 per color that year (2021).

How long did you wait for your 15500? Was that your first AP?

Congratulations!

Thank you. First AP, no prior relationship with anyone in the boutique.

April 2020 first call, June 2020 first boutique visit, February 2021 told they are getting 3 that year and one will be mine, June 2021 call to come pick it up.

What is your next AP that you're waiting for?

I haven’t requested anything since then as I bought 4 other watches since then (2 Rolex, 1 blancpain, 1 omega) and am trying to see what I enjoy and wear. I have stayed in touch with my rep every 3 months; pop over for coffee or enjoy a bottle of champagne with my wife as we are trying on whatever they have. I have softly enquired about RO QP in gold or steal. Got the impression it will not be easy but not impossible. On the other hand, I also inquired about 16202OR with the black fume dial and was pretty much told no chance as they get 1 max per year. I am thinking of formally requesting the QP and let’s see what happens. I’m in no rush and am not buying anything I don’t want.
