How often do you visit your AP Boutique
How often do you visit your home AP boutiques? How often would you say is too much and what do you think makes sense when trying to actively build the relationship? Once a month? Every other month?

My AD closed so I don't bother anymore. I just buy grey if there's something I really want. Honestly Rolex is the only watch brand I would consider buying new anymore so the only reason I even go to watch stores is to try something on. I'm done with the "relationship" thing.

Would say quarterly is a good cadence - or if you have an actual purpose (changing straps, buying straps, etc)
Monthly is overkill - what are you going to do every single month? Try on the same regular watches since no one will pull out the real good stuff? |

Every 3-6 months for me. The closest boutique for me is Chicago and that’s about how often I’m there (more in the summer). Not that I’d have a problem going a little more often, but there really aren’t watches to try on (they have other brands in the front). But I enjoy talking with my SA about other things so usually call when I’m in town.

I would say monthly until you're an established customer and then on a quarterly cadence to catch up.

My SA left and never even told me when he did. The new SA they handed my profile to has never even introduced himself to me. I'm rarely in town with enough time to drop by to visit these days. I'd probably be better served with a Japan AD at this rate but they probably wouldn't allow it based on my mailing address. At the rate prices are tanking on APs everyday, I probably won't need to visit any anymore.

2-3 times a week because my AP boutique is in a mall that I frequently visit. They have a great selection of Alain Milliat juices to choose from

I’d say every month at first— and then as you build up your profile maybe every few months.

Every month? How long does a visit last? What do you talk about over those visits? Doesn't seem like there is much new to say when you're still new and still have the same interest in the same watches that still waiting for with only a month passed.

I personally get in my head visiting too often because I'm a more no nonsense type of individual. If someone was stopping by to talk to me that often without anything material to say it would end up hurting our relationship because I'd just get annoyed lol.

Every time I visit London in past 4 years which is every 2-3 months. I feel it helps a lot to keep up the relationship, got the ROC I wanted and without a Code purchase! They have a very nice selection of whiskies in APH so that alone is worth the visit!

Every 3-4 months.
Haven't gotten new stuff from my SA but she's irreverent fun so my last visit we basically just shot the ish for 50min, I had two coffees and chocolate during my Friday afternoon lull break and then just tried on two Codes that they had in store lol. But didn't feel wasted at all - still a fun visit |
