Coke GMT

Was in with AD today and they were quietly confident that the Rootbeer was being discontinued and the COKE style GMT rumours are close to fact ;-) and to watch this space ! Picked myself up a sub , may have to change my GMT order pending watches and wonders announcements 😂 Anyone else getting any AD rumour / unvalidated facts at moment to share ?

It would be sad if Coke was white gold only or some PM variant.

This woudn't shock me at all. But THIS time don't be suckered into buying it just to have Rolex release a stainless version of the same watch a year later like the pepsi.

A coke bezel would be coo but they don't know anything and if they happen to be correct it was just luck.

The more time I spend on TRF the more I read that sales staff at Rolex authorized dealers have this unique ability to predict the future.

Didn't you know about the magical glass ball they have in the safe of every AD?

I was told BLNR is going as well. It is the longest-standing bicolor ceramic bezel. Who knows…we will find out in due time.

New GMT's usually come in precious metal first, usually a year before they come along in SS.

Coke tastes better than Pepsi, so only Platinum would do. Just please, no ice blue dial.

There are more Coke threads on TRF than Coke in Columbia.

Why would root beer be discontinued, of all the configurations? Out of all the two tone and rose gold watches Rolex sells, it seems to be the most desirable. Almost (but not quite) as popular as the stainless GMT models.

If that’s the case what colour bezel will the Everose/steel GMT have?

I was told Rolex is completely killing off all versions of the GMT and the Daytona because they are sick of hearing everybody complain about not being able to get one. They are being replaced by a Yacht-Master III and a new precious metal Air King. My AD has been right about every watches and wonders prediction for years so there’s no reason to doubt them this time either. Trust me bro.

May they rot in hell if they discontinue the CHNR without first releasing it on Jubilee

I 100% see them letting go of the root beer before the BLNR. They did just come out with the gold TT GMT. Maybe the plan all along was to have just one TT GMT moving forward and introducing the Coke GMT. Who knows, maybe the Coke GMT on rose gold.

If it’s 126710 maroon and not 16710 red, I may rage quit watches. I’d rather have nothing than that.

Not really interested at this point if its only in PM. As Samson above said, I will not be the donkey with the PM only to come out the next year in SS.

Beautiful watch! I think I would prefer the 5 digit Coke and Pepsi over the current bezel setup.
