Is the Coke the most anticipated Rolex watch?

Is the Coke the most anticipated Rolex watch?

How much demand do you think there would be for a Coke GMT if it actually came along? And how much would it cost on the grey market?

It is only because we know that in ceramic its a high possibility, personally I've been waiting more for a ceramic full gold Daytona.

A friend of a friend who knows a friend of the Rolex CEO told my friend that if and a big if they do bring out a ceramic coke insert. They are debating whether to bring out the MK1 and MK2 at the same time or wait untill they have the MK3 ready, and predict on the grey it will costing $1zillion

Anything Daytona is the most anticipated as always. Plenty of demand. Initially 30k then trend towards 18k.

I don’t think it will be the most anticipated. Not everyone likes the color red on their Rolex. The Coke color scheme was never as popular as the Pepsi so I also don’t see that changing either. The SS GMT market is on fire now and I think most feel it’s the only soda left not poured as a remake so it’s a logical choice.

I think it is because it has a historical value in that they did at one point exist.
I wish they would come out with another Hulk Sub so I can get one at retail.

Would you agree that dour satire is valid?

And that it is not disparaging since it serves to comment on the thesis embedded in a question?

On the other hand, you have accused a Mod of violating the spirit of the forum.

The Pepsi blue is so dark it's basically a coke.

I’ll buck the trend and say I’m not big on it, I do however like the previous iteration due to the vintage look and the way the bezels pop more, the red on the last Coke is nice and bright, plus the older Pepsi.
What I am eager to see is a full gold Hulk, that excites me.

I’d be more excited if they get the colors right on the Pepsi.

I bet it comes out in White Gold first.

Remember, the Pepsi price is super inflated right now because of fears it will be discontinued.

Why would the Coke be $30k stainless when its just out, if the Pepsi is at $22k and potentially about to be discontinued?

And the hype around watches is cooling.

If it is stainless, it will be in demand, but i think the only way it gets to over $20k is if Rolex make is super limited. They could make it a grail watch like the Daytona that they dangle in front of customers in order to buy more shit they dont want.

I'm with you. Something about black and red is kinda boring to me. Don't know why. Black + blue (Batman) and black + green (sprite) both look really great. I don't know why all the mockups of the coke just look flat.

Color combo is meh.

Heard red-and-orange bezels (Fanta?) could be a thing as well.

Two things,

1. I am on team Deadpool, if we are going to give these things names, may as well name it after an entertaining character. I’d be ok with Coke too I guess.
2. I get a really serious “professional” vibe from the Coke renders on jubilee. I’d trade my BLNR for one in a heartbeat.

He’s just being facetious, not disparaging the thread, or any of the participants. Just relax, and have a little fun, which is the point of a forum.

Will it be a classic coke, coke or diet coke. Since a ceramic insert is lighter than an aluminum one, I vote for diet coke. But then classic coke has a certain appeal. Maybe save that for the original. It is vital the nickname be right.

I think the Cole GMT would be great and help round out the GMT line-up. The most anticipated watch might be one that has not been realized by the masses until revealed. It is all fun and I look forward to the releases.
