I’d stick with the Rolex in this case.

Don't do it and you just made 33K. Profitable day.

I guess the heart wants what the heart wants, but that is one plain looking watch. For me, I don't get the aesthetic allure of PP, but I do appreciate the standard they set for horology. Though I'm not a huge DD fan, I find the DD to be much more appealing on the wrist, regardless of price. If you're asking, you probably want it, so get it in good health, if you go that direction.

That’s a hell of a lot of money plus a watch so I’d say definitely not and save your cash

I just think that the Patek will continue to drop on the used market far more than the DayDate will.

Do the trade in 6 months and maybe you only have to give them $20k.

Absolutely not! Keep your Rolex! I´ve never understood why so many people hyperventilate over the Aquanaut. Now, if you were talking about a PP Calatrava I might consider a trade...that´s a really gorgeous watch, imo!

Nope. 5168 looks good in pics, but doesn’t fit most people’s wrist very well.

I don't know either watch personally, I was just guided by pictures. Visually I like this green Patek much better. But I wouldn't pay this large additional sum.

For your 33k, add a white gold yacht-master 42.
