Super Jubilee vs regular for a 116200

I just picked this up, and I kinda feel like I should have gone with the jubilee bracelet. I contacted my AD and they said they would charge me $1700 just to swap it and take my oyster. Not really a fan of that idea so I'm looking elsewhere.

I love the idea of a Super Jubilee, but I understand that there's no quick link so people might be torn on that.

What I would like to know, is how different do they look otherwise? Is the steel the same? Same pattern? Same polish?

I tried posting a WTB for a Super Jubilee, but I guess I don't have enough posts?

You can buy the jubilee for about $1750 and keep your oyster.
I did this for my Skydweller

Personally, I think the Oyster bracelet is the right choice. It lets the design of the dial be the focus of attention. With the Jubilee, I think there will be too many elements competing for attention.

Looks great. Where did you source the bracelet? DM me if needed. Thank you!

That's a cool looking watch! I'd suggest keeping an eye on the accessories FS section of this forum, where there seems to be a number of Jubilee bracelets available regularly. You may find a seller there who could hook you up, even if they don't have the exact bracelet listed.

Meanwhile, I think your new watch looks pretty awesome on the PCL oyster bracelet!

Thanks. I love the oyster too, but would like to have the option for both.

Congratulations on your new watch. I personally think it looks perfect with that configuration. The way it sits the dial is the centerpiece, if you do feel the need to change maybe add the jubilee to have options and not be stuck with not having the “original” look.

I know 'variety is the spice of life' but I would agree with the above. This watch and it's dial wouldn't suit a jubilee (IMHO)

Think your watch is a 126200 ? There are 3/4 links (people call them half links) available to fine tune the sizing.

The super jubilee is for the older DJ ref 116200. You have the 126200 and I am not sure the super jubilee would fit even if they are both 20mm. If your AD wants to take back your oyster on top of 1700 Usd try another AD or RSC. You should be able to buy the jubilee and have back your oyster.
