I guess I’m a one-watch man again/outgoing

After feeling sorry for the watches in the safe deposit box getting little to no wrist action, i slowly started selling watches a couple years ago from a very modest collection. This week I pulled the trigger and sold my 126600, leaving me with just one watch, my first Rolex, the 216570. Although I loved that sea dweller and have some good memories, I’m feeling very content about it: a little lighter of possessions with a little extra in the account. Until the pull strikes again… maybe a gold piece for my 40th in a short few years ;)

Good everyday watch! Glad it’s the black. It makes a better one and only.

I remember my one-watch days fondly, not fondly to enough to go back but fondly. You picked a wonderful keeper. I admire your courage.

I’ll do plenty of living vicariously on the forum anyways!

Nice, OP. I’m a “lighter of possessions” guy myself. Just need to keep the collection in check.

Reliable and accurate. Attractive, prestigious and classic without being too ostentatious. Robust enough for outdoor activities, waterproof enough for swimming, thin enough to slip under a shirt cuff. And an unbelievably useful GMT function.

Good choice - Hard to see what else is needed in one watch really!

You chose your keeper wisely; it's the perfect do-it-all watch.

It's weird being the same age as old people.

You can’t go wrong with a PM, but it’s hard to have it as a one and done unless you’re going WG.

That would be a very difficult exercise to me. More power to you! Great single piece to have.
