To trade or not to trade ?

Thinking of trading a white gold submariner ,new model with blue bezel, black dial ,for a white gold skydweller on oysterflex band.
Sub plus $3500.00
Deal or no deal ,I already own a James Cameron deep sea.

Yes! Although I love the blue bezel Sub, a Sky Dweller is a different beast.

I have 2 Subs (black bezel/black dial and green bezel/black dial "Starbucks"). My Sky Dweller just brings on a different wearing experience. It's like a 41mm DJ on steroids, in a good way with the extra complications.

No for me. Prefer Sky-Dweller on bands rather than OF.

Have both a PM Sub and PM Sky. The SkyD is so much more watch that it is a no brainer for me

Sounds like a fair deal. I prefer Sky-Dweller than Sub

Do you like the sky dweller more than the sub? If so why not.

These are my thoughts, as well. If the OP likes their watches on the larger side, then a SkyD on OF will be a nice addition to the JC. Also, you got the "wrong" WG SubDate :)

I honestly like the sub, it’s more wearable under a cuff,as well as flying under the radar vs yellow gold or perhaps even the white gold skydweller.
The Smurf is also way more cool ,at least in my eyes, all that blue! But a bit pricey these days ,

I would go for it only if the SkyDweller was on a PM bracelet.

Exactly

No way I’m trading a full gold model for one on OF. YMMV

Trade or no trade

I think I’m keeping the sub, and will keep an eye out for a steel and white gold skydweller. I do see European watch company has a Smurf for sale, it is quite a looker.

Like the SD heaps...

But that's giving up a ton of gold considering the Oysterflex.

I'd pass, but do whatever allows you to wear and enjoy most!

Thanks for all your input, I appreciate the time you took to do so. I’m going to hold on to the sub. Too much gold to have replaced by an oysterflex band with the skydweller.
The unending search for the next watch continues as my sub stays safely in the fold!
