Rolex Guarantee card: serial number

Hi everyone,

For a 2018 Rolex, is there a website I can go to, input the serial number from the guarantee card, to confirm authenticity?

Thanks in advance

So how can the authenticity be confirmed? Would a check against the Watch Register do that, as well as confirming the Watch is not lost or stolen?

Authenticity and whether it is stolen are completely different things, but neither can be determined by any of the various "Watch Registers".

Watch Registers only show a very small, voluntary, sampling of watches and there is no actual authority on which these lists are based.

You can check with your local police to see if they have any reported thefts of a watch with your serial number. If you want Rolex to check then you need to surrender your watch to them, it is not a phone-in operation.

I guess the best route then is to get the watch serviced via an AD. That would surface any issues regarding authenticity.
