FS: 1979 Rolex Day-Date 18038 Baguette Ruby Diamond String Dial
Wow! Day-date reference 18038 with a single quick set date in stunning vintage condition. Some of the rarest releases from Rolex have been their special factory gem settings. This uncommon satin champagne dial is set with baguette cut rubies and small string of diamonds. The tritium lume has aged warmly on the dial, a puffy deep patina developed on them. The tritium hands perfectly match the dial as well. Spanish day wheel with open 6/9 date wheel. The case, and bezel remain very sharp, with its bracelet in excellent condition with minimal slack. Some signs of use throughout the case and the bracelet, with visible marks on the lugs both front and back. Overall, the watch is in fantastic vintage condition and a unique piece to add to the collection.
