My 2nd and 3rd allocation from AP House! Feel really so blessed

Just sharing to you guys my 2nd and 3rd allocation from AP House. It is possible once you can find a good SA! Maybe also the watch market is not good now but I feel blessed already.

Wow... which city are you in? Where I reside, it is hard to get offered a precious metal RO as the rich is here and that is all they want.

congratulations!

Hong Kong. So many buyers here as well but the city gets the most allocation I think compared to other parts of the world.

That’s khaki green and blue dial. I got a 43 mm offshore rose gold as my first piece.

Best rose gold pieces in the business.
Are you not interested in any steel pieces moving forward?

I’m hoping to get a full ceramic on my next piece before going for stainless. I was able to buy a stainless RO Chrono 41 mm with black dial 12 years ago and got a 30 percent discount from retail price. Those were the days!

Wow, congrats! I am super envious. I have been trying to get either of those as my 6th AP for about 15 months now and my local boutique just tells me how difficult they are to acquire.

Can you tell if you prefer one over the other yet?

If I can only get one, I would take a blue dial in Chrono in full bracelet. But they offered me a Khaki green dial first in Chrono full bracelet it was available for me first so I had to gladly take it.

What models have you gotten so far? What are the 5 pieces?

I’m hoping to get a black full ceramic as my next piece but I’m not sure if they will get me one.

Green is much harder to get. You’ll be fine lol. Besides it’s better diversity for the collection to have both blue and green.

Which black ceramic? They usually won’t allocate the same model back to back.

Yes I know the green is more harder to get less production that is why I was actually surprised they offered me that and quickly said yes. I’m fortunate to the get blue dial next.

I want to get the full ceramic 41 mm in chrono. I haven’t told my SA yet but I know it could be a difficult ask after my 2 allocations but who knows as the watch market is trending down now with fewer buyers.

Huge congrats for 2 gorgeous timepieces.

I think the RG bracelet should fit both of them too.

Congratulations but please can we see some better pictures?

I know you’ve said you’ll go for steel later but out of curiosity why did you go for 3 gold watches? Did you not fancy any steel in AP’s allocations of 3 watches first?

Right now precious metal pieces are the easiest to purchase in the AP world and Rolex. Lot of people don't want to spend the big bucks on these because they can't flip them like in the past, so these more expensive gold pieces are getting allocated more - while many steel pieces are still tough to acquire.

I was able to buy a 41 mm stainless steel Royal Oak Chrono with black dial way back 2012 as my first piece.

Watch is the one jewelry I wear so I really wanted precious metal pieces this time around specifically Rose Gold.
