My one and done

I know this topic has been beaten to death but idc. As a healthy owner of Rolex and Patek this is my go to piece. Can’t beat the thin, light, legible & durable diving, pool, two rounds of golf, driving range, short game, pickleball, business meeting, fancy restaurant and formal event watch. Really hard to find much wrong here and simple is better sometimes. And I don’t really care how much text is on the dial. I found a slider set from 2009 that’s hardly been worn and keeps time to one second over the past three weeks and I plan to wear the shite out of it! Cheers!!

Wear it, enjoy it .. I’d personally prefer date version, but you love it so that’s all that matters ..

I adore my Submariner. I've been wearing my DJ36 all weekend & look forward to putting the Sub Date back on my wrist. Once you go PM, it's tough to go back IMO. I'm glad you're enjoying yours.

Yup. Any Rolex model could easily be your one and only and be very well equipped.

That's a true classic and the dial works well with the 'no' date.

I like it!

Heck of a watch! I like having a few to pick from. But when I put any one of them on, I feel like it could be the one and only. Sport Rolex is my sweet spot.

Great product. Great brand.

Wear in good health !

I’m assuming “I don’t care”. As for the watch, love it, but prefer the date version. I’m with Mystro, though. Any Rolex model could be a one and done. I find myself grabbing the Wimbledon the most, lately.

Agreed!

The Sub is the iconic timepiece. I wanted one since I was a teen, but then Uni studies, marriage, mortgages, kid’s school fees etc got in the way!
Now I have my Sub Date, after 9 years I do concur that this is the true keeper Watch for me.

The Sub is a great choice for a one and done; I feel the same way about my 16710 GMT II.

Great watch and my favorite of all of the watches I have ever owned. I like the ND version for the balance of the dial. I wear mine everywhere I go and never think about it.

Great watch! That’s exactly how they should be in terms of wearing habits. Love the 5 digits!
