Wonderful Wednesday - New Rolex

Got a text from the AD today that they have a TT Gold & Oyster Sea Dweller was available. I have an SD43 so I thanked them but was going to pass.

The AD was on my way home from work - so I figured I would stop in and see if the TT Sea Dweller was still there. Thought it would be good to see one in person. It had been sold but not picked up yet - beautiful watch.

Got talking with the SA had a conversation about what I had and what I was looking for. Told her was really wanting a Sprite GMT - more small talk and she asked what type of bracelet told her jubilee, I
have 2 with oyster so thought the jubilee would be a nice addition. She replied let me check something - about 5mins later she comes out with the Sprite GMT on jubilee. Said it was available - HOLY COW!!

Blown away & super happy to say the least.

Wow, I gotta say that looks spectacular on jubilee!

By the way, how did you get the crown on the left side? Is that a left handed model? (If there's such thing). Are other rolex models available with a left side crown? Congrats again!

As far as I know this is the only “left hand” model Rolex has ever made. Only the GMT II Green & Black. I’m a lefty so really wanted this version of the GMT II - but like what others have said, you almost just take what is available. Thanks

So she made you wait 5 minutes? I'm so sick of this disgusting wait list crap Rolex puts it's customers through.

Good on you OP for not bailing out and having the patience to buy at retail.

Wear it in great health! Congrats

I can’t tell if this is irony or not…. In the grand scheme of things, a salesperson checking if their other customers of the store waiting for the model isn’t obnoxious, IMHO, and she sold it to a customer who spoke about it for a few minutes. Pretty good service, IMHO.

Love it! Congratulations!

rare to get a bezel protector with it these days too, as much as a tiny piece of plastic can possibly matter haha

Enjoy in good health

BTW - sharing the serial number is a bad idea...
