It's here!
Just took delivery of a 36mm OP Celebration and couldn't be happier! Haven't had time to take pics yet, but soon. On the older watches with actual papers, you can usually see where the watch was originally purchased. Since this was purchased on the grey market and the newer models now come with a Rolex card that doesn't have AD on it, is there a way to find out original AD? I'm always interested in the history. I purchased a 16013 2 years ago from 2000 miles away and the papers showed that the original AD was located only about 70 miles from my house! Thought that was so cool.

Why don’t you ask to your dealer where they got it ? (Or perhaps the previous owner told them)

Congratulations on the OP.
Asking the seller above might be your only option. |

Thank you! I’ve emailed my SA at Bob’s and just waiting to hear back. Wasn’t sure if someone here may know as well. It’s not a huge deal, but I always think it’s fun to know the history.

Congrats! I want that exact watch, but will not pay the huge premium they want on the used market.

As a retail client outside of Rolex, there’s no way to tell with the updated warranty cards who the original selling AD was.
Did you get the white serialized hang tag also? |

Thanks everyone, super excited to have this piece. It has elicited a range of emotions in me since the release last year, starting with not being so sure about it, but appreciating the fact that it was different, to seeing more and more photos and really really falling in love with it. Looking forward to getting it sized and on the wrist!

I don't know if it is
possible but at least I think that the store where the watch had originally been sold could be found out on the basis of its serial number. However, it is uncertain whether it is told to you or not.

I am pulling for you Kat. You know I am also wanting that turquoise but I sure am not going to pay gray market prices for it either.
