What is this Rolex and did I leave something I should have scooped up?

I found this cool watch at a local antique shop. In my research I think its a "Wellington Observatory," possibly a 1940s Rolex. It even has what seems to be the original box with a matching picture of the watch on it. I'm new to owning Rolexes (ref#124300) and collecting watches in general, and I'm not really into vintage stuff. Anyone know anything about this watch?

I was able to do an image search

Thanks for the response!!!

I figured out what the model was via google, but there seems to be at least a few differences. I'm to new so I cant post links yet and not sure I'm even allowed to post the URL to the "York Time" auction listing. In comparison to the online example that watch case is yellow gold platted the one I found in the wild seems to be steel. Polished off? Also the crowns are not the same (replaced?).

You did not mention how much they were asking?

Some people collect these watches, but they are too small to wear.

Im quite sure the box is fake so the watch is probably in question. The hands look brand new. Probably a cobbled together piece to deceive at an antique shop. Usually found in tourist trap locations.
I have seen similar. Old pocket watch movements are used in no name, unmarked cases.
I bet that if the case back is popped off, it will be blank on the inside.
An Observatory watch would have originally come in a brown leather box with the rolex logo embossed on the top and a red foil hang tag with the word ROLEX on it.
An original Observatory box alone is worth way more than $700

Im sure this is the box they are peddling. These are Chinese specials made to look old. Produced in the last few years. They can be found at junk shops, antique shops and flea markets.

The crown does give me fake vibes or at least replaced with lower quality material. I think the seconds hand is supposed to be red too. I may go in and take better pictures. Honestly didn't put much effort into the pictures so I may do that. Thanks for your help!
