London Jewelers at Short Hills Mall NJ

Any board member been there recently? Just wondering what the exhibition selection was like?

My wife and I are planning a visit next Saturday. Maybe some models might be available. Won’t getting my hopes up but we shall see.

Been a while since I was there, but bought two from them. They had a nice selection to view and try on. Better than other places I had looked in Jersey, like Leonardo Jewelers. We left on our first visit with a mint DJ36. Got the call 3-4 months later for my SD43. Our SA was Christopher Grey. He was great.

Because it is in a very wealthy area and is just 20 miles from NYC, it is a very impressive Rolex AD. It has a larger selection of exhibition pieces, than many other ADs, certainly more than my current AD. I moved to CA, from NJ, and have been there.

Its a “Boutique”. Maybe that’s why the great exhibition variety.

While called a Boutique, It is a private family owned Jeweler. There are no Rolex owned Boutiques. Now that Rolex owns Bucherer, not sure how that may change anything. My own private family owned AD, calls their Rolex section a Boutique, as well, but it’s certainly smaller than at London Jewelers, who also house several other luxury brand Boutiques, including Patek Philippe and Tudor.

I've been in a few times over the last two years, got to play with a few.
Never received a call & don't ever expect one.

I have had a relationship with this boutique and the staff long before it was under the current management. I was a customer at Sydney Thomas and before that Ross Simons. I remember the days of walking in and buying any Rolex on the spot at a discount.
I purchased my James Cameron the week the boutique opened. I have a small "wish" list that has existed since then.....almost 3 years. I made a request for a milestone birthday over year ago.......nothing. And another birthday has just passed, still nothing.
I have not until very recently made requests at other AD's, partly out of loyalty to London, partly thinking buying a watch when it became available would be appreciated at the boutique.

So back to the original subject, I hope anyone else has better luck than me, but after sitting in the shop for a while, I don't think you will walking out with what you want.

You and me both and lots of others! 2 years to get a no date sub though which was a complete surprise and not expected. London also owns a bunch of other "boutiques" there as well!
