What do you think of the LV? Honest opinions please

I bought this looking at the pictures and then getting a call from the AD after 10 months although the black bezel was my first choice. I couldn’t say no to this and bought it. I quickly had a buyers remorse but decided to give it some time and wore it for the last 3 months. And now I can’t stop looking at it and am falling in love it. This one gets the most wrist time. What do you all think of this three handed with a touch of green?

The green bezel is a nice contrast to the black dial. As long as you like it, it's all good.

The LN was your first choice, but they offered you an LV?

How times have changed

It was a stroke of luck to have got this LV. I still think LN might be more available.

True but if we always had honest opinions there would be no hype on forums on some models

I particularly like the the MKII bezel green. As long as you have things it goes with, some mention with the green bezel it limits wear. It is personal taste.

I had the former MK1 green and miss it. I am considering adding the MK2 but I am not completely sure. I prefer the black bezel sometimes, but would alway get bored with it. The green always felt more special on.

Almost smacks of "Dear Penthouse"doesn't it?

Congrats on a beautiful watch, OP. The green bezel on the original LV was one of the reasons I was drawn to this hobby.

I haven’t seen the lighter green in person but in photos here I’d give it the slight edge, I just think it’s a bit more interesting

I was offered the first gen at release in 2020, but opted for the classic Submariner instead.

I still might add the no date and green OP as alternative. What I do know is that I am not sure and that lead me into trouble of buying and trading back in the past. Going to sit tight until at least next year.

Since you asked...I think its ok.
For me, the sweetspot is the hulk. The green dial sets it apart much more. The newest version of the LV has a nicer green bezel than previous ones though which were a bit odd to me personally.

I sometimes wonder if the hype from the hulk never happened, would the LV have become as sought after as it is?

I really do not care for the green bezel against the black.

I like it a lot, and often consider moving on my Submariner for this version. Don't think I ever will as I love the classic black without the cyclops too much.

I prefer the 11 series but so long as you have the one you want it's all that matters.

Congratulations.

I like the LV over the LN date. For the black bezel Sub I prefer the no date.

I have the green sub trifecta. I like them all. Nice change from the black bezel subs, and I usually wear at least one a week.

What do you think of the LV? Honest opinions please

I like it, on you, and here it is on me, just yesterday:

I’d always thought I’d prefer the LN over it. I think it looks better on me, than the LN, somehow. Perhaps the pop of color is a better choice for a female wrist? I was surprised how much I liked it.
