Best one and done PM Rolex?

Hey all as per the title, if you could have one Rolex in precious metal as your only one and done (within budget) - which would it be and why? (Note: pretend the world is a safe place so no worries wearing anywhere)

Gold Daytona with oysterflex. Love the design of it and the gold clasp that balances the opposing gold case. Looks very well balanced in design and the black/gold is a classy combo.

I have my PM Daytona from many years ago so I’m very satisfied with it.

There are so many choices. It would depend on your preference between classic and professional, as well as the vibe you're going for and what else is in the collection.

Day Date II, or Day Date 40, or maybe Day Date 36

PM Rolex and budget are not often found in the same sentence.

The answer is DayDate.

Platinum DD 40 or DD2 41mm are very fine choices as long as the dial is powder blue…

126718 GRNR.

If I were to keep just one watch, this would be a contender. Looks great in yellow gold and Jubilee bracelet adds some flash. Sport watch case and clasp afford durability and GMT complication adds utility. It’s a winner.

On the list for a 126518LN with the golden dial and black sub dials but I am considering other with full PM bracelet but OF Daytona always looks so smart on a person's wrist for sure

Considering the Meteorite dial WG as well - just no mistaking that watch as SS with that dial.

Disagree tbh - you can buy full vintage DDs like a 18238 for £14k or a RG Olive for £37k - to some the vintage is within budget and the Olive is not hence why I said within brackets.

Stunning!!! I've considered this as well alongside the Rootbeer. I would comfortably replace my Pepsi GMTc with this. A PM GMT really is hard to beat.

One of the best pics I've seen of this - truly stunning and I really am not a fan of white gold but you make exception for this!

I have a few I can achieve, but not sure I’d be done ..
1. Platinum Daytona, for me the ultimate.
2. John Mayer green dial Daytona.
3. Meteorite Pepsi or Daytona.

For me these are the 3 best I could possibly get, I would be happy with any of them ..

I can’t believe that I’m saying this, but the John Mayer Daytona.

116519LN - it’s about as subtle as the PM watches get with the Oysterflex and white gold and love the dial.
