FS: 1962 Rolex Oyster 6426 Royal Precision

Perhaps one of the best kept examples from the 60s that we have ever come across. Watches at this age, are usually destroyed with signs of aging on the dial — but this one has mostly well preserved. The dial, which has the off white color of parchment, has a nice opaline sheen rather than a flat one. The markers on the third, sixth and ninth hours are reminiscent of a thinner version of the popular door stop markers. Aging doesn’t escape this watch however, as its steel hands have some visible signs of oxidation. Overall, a well preserved example with a nice, thick case and very tight bracelet.
