Anyone have green 5711? Thoughts?

Seeing prices at their "lowest" on grey market, at obviously a still incredibly massive premium.. just wondering if anyone has this piece, their thoughts?

I've personally had 5726a. blue, 5711a white, 5712a (x2), 5980a white dial, 5990a grey dial, and I just love the stainless Nauts. 5711a was my favorite of the lot so far, but this would be a massive jump. I like the "discreetness" of the piece for the value, perhaps more under the radar than 5740g, and always love lightness and durability of steel personally, versus added heft which I respect lends credence to the value of a watch..

Yes I have a green dial. It was a gift but I don’t find it anything more special than a blue dial 5711. In fact the green dial is a bit dark and uninteresting.

I love all Nautilus and plan to buy a 5811.

Wow that’s a tough one vs the 5740. The 5740 is the sure thing and green watch is a littler riskier, both future classics no doubt. I actually might take the green 11 over the 40.
I think we got ours at about the same time and I’ve also been toying with the idea of trading it for a different one but I was thinking a solid rose gold one maybe.
Anyway here’s a side by side with a friends 40

Personally, I think I would find it difficult to drop that much on a Nautilus when there is so much competition in the same price range. Gruebel, Voutilainen, Gauthier, etc...

I have one, which was an AD purchase. I couldn't imagine paying the grey premium on it, but it's a beautiful watch which I think will always be interesting due to the very limited run. I enjoy my blue 5726 on the wrist more.

From a grey market perspective, hands down the 5740 is the choice. Save $40k while getting a PM watch that is a QP and much more dynamic/brighter dial.

Do you still own any of those other Nautalai? If not, then you must flip these on a regular basis so just buy this, wear it for a while and sell it.
This sounds more like a question of whether or not the market price has bottomed, in which case my answer is "no".

I very much agree with this assessment.

I have not understood the appeal of 5711 green. From an aesthetics perspective I much prefer 5711 blue. And the rarity of 5711 green shouldn't be much of a factor if one wants to wear it rather than as a vehicle for storing money. I also doubt green as a dial color for watches will stand the test of time nearly as well as blue.

Appreciate your perspective. Different strokes for different folks, just like cars. Ferrari is the only car brand that appeals to me, even respecting the competitors like McLaren, Lambo, Porsche, hell even something like Bugatti etc... Same thing for Patek for me, no other watch brands really move the needle for me personally

Thanks for sharing, amazing you got it from your AD. 5726 is incredible, but I've grown to love the "thinner" Nauts over their thicker brethren like 26, 80, 90!

I chose differently! 5740 is insanely good, but I had a few qualms with it personally

I do sadly flip on a regular basis, but I'm trying to fix that with this latest purchase and hoping this is "it" for awhile ha ha..

Pretty much sums up why I went for the green dial!

I like the green well enough but the pricing are insane on those. Amazing what people will pay just for a color.
