I am going to have to part with my 5513 I think.
Looking around it seems my dial is not the same as most, most I have seen have submariner below the depth rating and mine is on top.

It is a VERY clean beautiful 5513 serial # 587308*

I have the coffin box, service papers (2 times once in England and once in Canada) as well as the original rolex sales warranty.

Can anyone give me a ball park idea as to value? I have checked the boards and EScam but prices are all over the place!!!!

I just do not wear it as I do not want to abuse it and think Id b better off selling it to someone who would really appreciate it and getting myself something I would wear and enjoy more.

Here is a pic of the dial as when I get it I sent it straight to SteveM to have it looked over and make sure all was well.

Looks like a VERY VERY nice mark 3 Maxi dial to me...Nowt wrong wi' it!!

Yes I just found out it is called the Mark 3 dial.

Any idea as to value?

Of course I know it varies on case etc.

It has been worn but is in good shape for its age and a daily wear watch.

I also think the paperwork and coffin case ad to its value.
I really think I may use it to get into a GV :)

There's a similiar one on the vintage forum market @ 3.5k (uk pounds)

these 5513's are highly collectible..I know a fellow who has been trying to get a 5513 of every dial style..he's up to 8 right now!...lol
about 8 more I imagine and he will have them all!

That's a nice idea, but I hope he's got deep pockets when it comes to getting the Explorer, Mil-Sub and early Comex examples of the 5513 Steve...

That is a great looking dial. I like the serifs on the 'ft'.

Real nice example for sure. Prices do vary a bit, but it should be around the $5k mark I would have thought, what papers do you have?

I'm guessing it is a 6million serial no. case?

It has the original Rolex guarantee, Rolex Service papers from RSC England (it was bought in England) then RSC papers from Canada (the original owner who I purchased it from moved from England to Canada) and then everything you can pretty well see from the pics.

Seems to be pretty complete except the sub book (from what I have been told on the vintage forums is they came with the oyster and sub book back then) no plastic tags either.

It is the coffin box

Yogi says it's a 5,800,***mil up on the top post making it a late 70's model.

It's a nice 1680 example for sure. After a cleanup, any buyer would be good to go!
