DeepSea Case Back

Anyone know if the caseback for DeepSea 116660 (SS DeepSea from 2008-2017) and DeepSea 126660 (SS DeepSea 2018-2022) are the identical?

I need to purchase one of these as a gift and I can't be 100% certain my if my friend got his in 2017 or 2018, and I can't ask.

If identical, anyone know the part # for this caseback?

[btw yes my AD will sell to be]

Don't know, don't they use the two part titanium center backs?

In any event, if the AD will sell you one then they surely have the correct part numbers and what goes on each.

I can't speak to the part number, but i would assume they are the same item for the 11 and 12 and interchangeable as a result.
The only one that's obviously different are the Caseback items on the 13, though it may even fit perfectly on the off chance but a total unknown

I think the OP wants to engrave it.
The problem is that in the event it goes to Rolex for a service it will need to be changed over to an unmolested part as a requirement.
Things will get complicated about it.

Ti can be engraved with various methods including laser engraving. You can engrave the Ti back on the DS. In fact his is already engraved w his initials. His AD did this on purchase in ~2017/2018.

Update. Was bought from 2014-2016 time frame. Here it is. So I feel 99.9% certain this is 116660. Anyone know the part number for the Ti caseback? Or can anyone point me to a parts list?
