Speedmaster Legend..

I spotted this on a friend and really like it, he actually offered to sell me it or trade me. How much is it worth, with all papers boxex and why can't I find any of it online. This was last night and I was very sleepy so it's one of the following just not sure which one. :) What I do remember is that the dial was a creamy ivory color not a white dial. More like the one below with the black sub dials.

Any of the two special or rare? One worth more that the other?

The bottom line seems to take on an old school Daytona feel with the contrasting black and white dials/face.

I had one. Its a fantastic watch. People are put off by the association to Schumi and therefore it tends to be a somewhat less desirable piece. But I found a way around this. I bought a sterile display back from www.thomaspreik.de for under $200 and had it installed. Now there is no association with Schumi (if that bothers you) and you get to see the gorgeous auto movement. This watch is underappreciated and well worth the $1800-$2k +/- that they go for on the used market.

I love the Schumacher line. I have the 2001, and my little brother has the 2002, and they are great. Personally I love the dial on these, the white is so bold.

Hey, dont get me wrong. I like it, and if someone were to hand me one, I wouldnt turn it away. But then, once I got one, I might be tempted to "accidently" start running into people I didnt like :-)
