Ridley project #4 Hunter's case Rolex P/W

In addition to Al’s 1908 Wilsdorf & Davis pendant watch, this is another early vintage pocket watch I enjoyed working with:
16 size Hunter’s case Rolex piece

So, Bob, would this date from the '20s? What is the case material and size?

Really superb.

Adam,

This movement would be considered as a 16 'S (approx. 42.40 mm).
I think that the circa would be early 40's. There is a basic movement from this caliber that was used in the military during WW2.
The case is a solid 9kt gold. As you can see, the movement has been well cared for.

Regards, Bob

Very nice, Bob.

P.S. the 1908 W&D is chugging merrily along.
