New Superocean Heritage Releases

Looks like Breitling redesigned the SOH line, offering new dial colors, smaller case sizes, and integrated end links on the mesh bracelets. All improvements IMHO, however, it’s a bummer that they incorporated butterfly clasps on the bracelets, hence 0 adjustability.

I looked at the 40 and 42 on bracelet today. I'm thinking about getting the 40 in black. Wow. Great watch. I liked everything about it.

I have a 44mm in blue on blue. Looks like they discontinued that size/color
I like the look of the new models.

Nice! I’ve been waiting for the slimmer case and curved end links on the mesh bracelet. The green dial has been on my mind. They really made some huge improvements.

My only hang up is the damn butterfly clasp. I’m always between sizes on them and my wrist swells/contracts so I need more adjustability than a butterfly provides. Why they did everything so right and then completely dropped the ball on the clasp (a diver’s clasp albeit!) is beyond me.

I’ve read about success swapping the previous generation clasp with the micro-adjustment clasp used for the rubber. Just need a closer look at the new bracelet; not enough pics circulating yet.

The bracelet clasp is a thing. I noticed on past Breitling mesh bracelets screws were used to remove those links. The 40 looks to have pin and collar type pins. The SA told me the collar was something other than metal and a hammer is involved when they adjust the bracelet. That is what was told to me, so don't hold me to it. But you could clearly see no screws.

I'm lucky in that I can set my bracelet and I'm good all day. But fine tuning this mesh bracelet isn't going to happen. If I do pick one up I'll go with a little looser than too tight.

I'm spoiled with my Tudor T-fit on my Monochrome. This Breitling is noticeably smaller the the Monochrome... and much slimmer.

Love the clasp on the recent Top Time 38mm release!

I just tried on the same watch as well as the green in 42mm, the black in 40mm.
The blue is eye popping, a deeper richer blue than the previous model. the green very nice, the black nice.
The thickness is dramatically different than the previous model, feels great on the wrist!
