Homemade Lightbox - first attempt

My "first" attempt at a homemade lightbox. Made it out of cardboard box. Cut the sides off and replaced with regular printing paper.

Light was from a floor lamp that was placed on the top left. ISO100, F11, 6sec

Light was from Flash from direct right.
ISO100, F11, 1/60sec

Which one do you like?

Looks very good, do you have a way to dim the light?

David, I used one of the regular floor lamps that has a translucent shade. Acted as a diffuser so the light distributed evenly. Both shots were edited in Lightroom later to my liking.

I use a large white plastic garbage can. Place your subject inside the can and the light source on the outside so the can acts as a diffuser. Works like a charm.

For additional inspiration, can you show us pictures of your lightbox setup?

NICE!

Add white balance to the mix and you'll really capture the metallic colors.

This was very close to what I did. Link

Overall, a very easy set up and works quite well.
