Omega Boutique Somerset OPENED!!!
Just like the title said, it finally opened up on Thursday! The place is little small but lots of pieces including new recent releases. The staff is really friendly and very welcoming for change.

I lived in Michigan before, there was already an Omega Boutique in the Somerset Collection mall in Troy. It's been there for years. What's different?

While doing the buildout, they had a temp store on the other side of the mall (by the now open Omega) Their Rolex rep came for a visit to see the progress, and visited the temporary store- after seeing neighbors on both sides (Prada, Gucci, LV, Moncler, MCM vs a candy store and a hair salon) the Rolex rep said they would like their boutique on the higher end side of the mall. Tappers of course had to accommodate. Omega (who pulled out of the mall in 2020 or 2021), upon hearing about the stand alone Rolex boutique wanted to get back in. Tappers does carry Omega at their Novi store, so I am not sure how all this played out on a high level or if Tappers will continue to carry Omega at all- the selection in Novi was very sad when I stopped in about a month ago |
