Rolex Meteorite Dial Watches vs Omega Meteorite Dial Watches

Hi

I am curious to understand if it is just a Rolex thing or if it is because of the material (the meteorite) that a meteorite dial Rolex Daytona or GMT is so hard to get?

From what I've read and researched, the Omega Speedmaster also has a meteorite dial from the same meteorite but is still accessible at an AD I visited.

Is the Omega one not as rare as the Rolex? What is the difference?
