Great feedback on Seanlandsnaes in Miami as a TRF trusted seller, too.

There are three clusters of high-end watch retailers, but none of them will match the prices you will get from Oscar or David. Those clusters are (from south to north) the Design District, Bal Harbour Shoppes, and Aventura Mall/Biscayne Blvd. corridor (King's Jewelers, Int'l Jewelry Exchange, and Aventura Mall. The mall has a Mayors, Mayor's/Rolex Boutique, smallish Torneau, Ulysse Nardin, Corum, Omega, Breitling, Jaeger, Cartier, and Tag. Seybold Bldg. downtown Miami is also OK.

Several Mayors stores around town. I was just at the one in Aventura mall today and they have a large selection of Rolexes. Design district has an actual Rolex boutique there with a watchmaker on staff. Both Aventura mall and the design district have several other luxury/high end watch boutiques as well. Enjoy!

Check out the Design District (its off Miami Beach but close). They have a Rolex boutique as well as boutiques for just about every one big watch maker. Worth the day trip.

I understand people have gotten good deals with the Trusted sellers but to give someone honest advice on a purchase this important and expensive in a world where knock-offs run a muck, to say anything less that what I said is shameful.

I guess we all are to some degree.

That being said, I think most people here aren't interested in what you're pushing.

Either you work for the league of Rolex authorized dealers (not a real thing) or you are extremely insecure.

This may come as a news flash to our AD shill, but many of the watches sold by David (can't speak to the others as I have no first hand knowledge) come shipped direct from an AD stamped and dated with your name on the papers. Lots and lots of ADs use people like David to move inventory.

check out the Seybold building in downtown Miami...everything from new to vintage and everything in between. Max at International House of Time has his place there and will take care of you.

Advising someone to save a load of money and buy from a TRUSTED seller - someone who has a stellar reputation for delivering items as described and cheaper than a dealer thats unwilling to discount is shameful how exactly?

he buys from "walk-ins" into this jewelry exchange - Old/vintage Rolex

Almost all the booths have from a few Rolex watches to a few hundred

Mainly modern/used and brand new.
Some are asking "extraterestrial" prices, some are clueless... and some

My opinion is that you can place a special order within this forum
and most likely you will get a better deal than the Aventura exchange.

With that said... do your home work and check prices - right now because
of the strong dollar - new Rolex watches that were selling for x
are now much less...and the trouble is that the used ones remain unsold
when one compares... lightly used vs brand new....just because the used
watches were paid for during the stronger euro era.

I'll be there tomorrow Friday/24 at noon - email me if you need assistance

If you want a free bottle of water....for hundreds of dollars more, go the AD route. +1 for Oscar, sold me previously, 100% authentic with warranty card from a AD. Lame comments IMHO by the one AD pusher...no offense, to each their own....buy the seller in any case!

I recommend watchmaker Hannan at Schwartz Jewelers (Aventura J. Exchange) for any servicing of watches, especially Rolex. Being in the business over 20 years he can procure most parts.

AD = authorized dealer...Authorized by whom?..hmmm? Authorized by Rolex.

TRF Trusted Seller = Trusted Seller authorized by a bunch of unknown guys on an internet forum?

When I'm going to make an investment of this amount the last place I'm going to buy it is somewhere or from someone that is unauthorized to sell it. Thats all I was saying.

I wonder why Rolex authorizes certain stores besides their boutiques to sell their watches? They have the most protected brand in brand history.

For the record I'm not an AD. I do treasure my relationship I've developed with my AD and I'm greatly rewarded for it in many ways including a huge discount. This is how its done.

If it's just about saving a little money, then you have missed the boat and probably shouldn't be buying a Rolex anyway.

For anyone who's seen that HBO special a few years ago "Cocaine Cowboys" they claimed that Mayor's in Miami sold more Rolex watches in the 80's then any other dealer in the country. Not that I'm doubting it just wondering how they knew that, did Mayor's tell them cause we know Rolex didn't.

If you know exactly what youre looking for, I agree with calling David. But if you want to look and perhaps buy, go to the design district Lots of watch stores including a Rolex boutique. Victor is the manager and a very nice guy

Absurd thinking. Some people buy used to save a few bucks and others buy new from trusted sellers to do the same. Unless you have proof to show otherwise, the trusted sellers here sell 100% authentic Rolex watches in the exact condition they describe. . An AD may be authorized by Rolex to sell their watches but what exactly does that mean to you? You think you got a more authentic watch than the one I bought from a trusted seller show purchased it directly from an AD? Like someone else stated, many of them buy directly from US AD's who are overstocked

In regards to saving a few bucks - So people that by a used Mercedes shouldnt be buying Mercedes? How about being the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th owner of a home. Are they allowed to buy a home?
