I can't wait to watch this fight. It's at least 5 years too late but better late than never.

Mayweather couldn't retire without this fight or there would be too many questions hanging over him and following him around for the rest of his life about why he wouldn't do it, not that he would probably care given he's earning north of $100m per year and more than that for this one fight.

As much as I'm a huge FM fan, I think anyone that comes to Vegas to fight him has pretty much got to knock him out to beat him!
He is worth too much money to the MGM, and Vegas in general with his huge attraction of him being the longest undefeated boxer for him to be beaten and loose that 0
I read somewhere that each fight of his is birth $1 billion to the Vegas economy. Fight tickets, hotels, flights,food, drink ect ect.

My head says that Mayweather will win but I really hope Pacquiao does it. I think we discussed this here before but I think as they get older their fighting styles suits Mayweather better. He's a more defensive, methodical fighter whereas Pacquiao is all about speed and skill. As he gets older I think he's slowing down a little, although that's when compared to himself. He's still like lightening compared to most.

I had flights and hotel booked for fight weekend but had to cancel as the dates clashed with other commitments. I'm gutted!
I think I'll leave the betting on this, prices aren't good enough on FM. Although I might stick a lump on the draw like you said.

Its totally different in the states. In the UK we all bet online, I usually spread bet but do some fixed odds.

As the UK is quite relaxed on gambling there are many many different ways for us to lose our cash. Most bets now, even fixed odds we can cash out halfway through an event - Its big big business, So much so that half the Premier league football teams are sponsored by gambling websites

That's an interesting point you guys bring up about the draw not being unlikely due to Mayweather's "undefeated status" being beneficial to everyone. I'm tempted to lay some on that, too.

Essentially, yes, if you're planning to immediately convert your BTC to cash at market value as soon as you receive them, the daily fluctuation does matter. But, since I don't plan on cashing out much of my BTC in the immediate future, the daily exchange rate isn't really a factor for me. It is a very interesting styles matchup. The thing about this fight is that Mayweather could probably go in and box and move, and pull a Pernell Whitaker, make the fight a stinker, and win almost every round while not getting touched too often. For a lot of his career he did exactly this.

But Mayweather increasingly buys into his own persona and has been actually "fighting" his opponents more and more. He's still so talented that he can fight this way and win, but he doesn't have to. This will not work against Pacquiao and if Floyd consistently opts to trade punches, or try and roll his shoulders from the corner/ropes, he will find himself in trouble. Everyone is forgetting that Mayweather is the older fighter... he's 38! Ray Leonard was 35 when he was a geezer in the ring against Terry Norris.

I think you only need to watch Mayweather lose to Donaire in their first fight (gift decision) to see how he gets hit a lot more than he ever did when he was young. If Donaire had Pacquiao's calves, Mayweather would have been kayoed in that fight. Well, I don't see why that doesn't happen here.

I predict Pacquiao 116-112 over Mayweather, and Floyd gets knocked down once in the early rounds.

I was at Mayweather maidana 1&2. Great atmosphere as any Mayweather fight is but a disappointing fight.
I wish I could have been at Mayweather Hatton! Although it would have been devastating to see Ricky get destroyed, the atmosphere for that with all the Brits that travelled over looked immense. I went to the press tour in Manchester and that was electric enough!

There is nothing else to match those nights, it should be on everyone's bucket list.

Ricky fought the pacman at the at the wrong time, the Guinness was catching up with Ricky and I don't think anyone could of lived with Pacman that night - I was shouting at the TV for him to just stay down! One of the last champions that would take any fight unlike the ducking and diving that goes on these days to avoid a fight you could lose......... This fight should of happened years ago but mayweather managed to avoid it.

I was lucky enough to meet Ricky last month, sportsmans dinner and spent the 2 hours leading up to it sat with him in the hotel bar. He thought Mayweather would win but likes my draw idea !
