Baltic Aquascaphe
Dear All,
I recently discovered this brand and their release coming towards the End of the Year. What do you guys think of the design? Of the Price? I find it an honestly vintage inspired watch - in a fair price range - that is not a straight up homage. Looking forward to your opinions! https://baltic-watches.com/aquascaphes/aquascaphe Best Luka

Doesn't do anything for me. Much prefer a Tissot at that price level

I personally don’t like the bracelet, but looks like a decent watch at that price point. If you like it, why not

I like it a lot actually. I think the beads of rice fits it well.

Aesthetically looks quite nice - but for the €500 mark probably other things I would go for, or add just a bit more and get something more established.

No minute markers on the dial is a a BIG fail for a so called diver.
![]() It’s a watch with a Miyota movement. ![]()

Do you have any experience with the Miyota Movement. Can it be regulated better than the suggested -10/+30 spec?

I really like the looks of their watches, as they are classic and simple, but I've never heard of the brand and have no idea of the quality.

I like it.
It has a clean look and the bracelet is very nice, too.

I can’t think of anything more uninspired than a vintage looking dive watch in 2018.

With the pre-sale starting today at 4pm Paris time, I went to Baltic’s offices to check out the models.
The positives: the bead of rice bracelet is thin but nicely solid + the bezel clicks feel good + the case/lugs are nice. The negative (for me): I found the indices to be dirty brown instead of light cream (like in the photos), so the watch is a bit hard to read. But, if you like the “tropical” look, I think you’ll be happy. |

I saw the watchfinder youtube video, and I liked the vintage look, and went on the above website. They are either sold out of this model, or for other reasons it's not available.
