Dear All,

I recently discovered this brand and their release coming towards the End of the Year. What do you guys think of the design? Of the Price? I find it an honestly vintage inspired watch - in a fair price range - that is not a straight up homage.

Doesn't do anything for me. Much prefer a Tissot at that price level

I personally don’t like the bracelet, but looks like a decent watch at that price point. If you like it, why not

I like it a lot actually. I think the beads of rice fits it well.

Aesthetically looks quite nice - but for the €500 mark probably other things I would go for, or add just a bit more and get something more established.

Actually I was quite drawn to EXACTLY because of the Beads of Rice Bracelet. They are hard to find these days.

Yup, for me the bracelet is what completes the watch!

This comes back to the Tissot comment, I agree with you that provenance would be nice, and the issue I have with this brand is that they are a Kickstarted Backed Watch Brand, but the aesthetic is apealing.

If only I could see it before ordering!

No minute markers on the dial is a a BIG fail for a so called diver.

It’s a watch with a Miyota movement.

Do you have any experience with the Miyota Movement. Can it be regulated better than the suggested -10/+30 spec?

I really like the looks of their watches, as they are classic and simple, but I've never heard of the brand and have no idea of the quality.

I can’t think of anything more uninspired than a vintage looking dive watch in 2018.

With the pre-sale starting today at 4pm Paris time, I went to Baltic’s offices to check out the models.

The positives: the bead of rice bracelet is thin but nicely solid + the bezel clicks feel good + the case/lugs are nice.

The negative (for me): I found the indices to be dirty brown instead of light cream (like in the photos), so the watch is a bit hard to read. But, if you like the “tropical” look, I think you’ll be happy.

I saw the watchfinder youtube video, and I liked the vintage look, and went on the above website. They are either sold out of this model, or for other reasons it's not available.
