I would send better pictures to Michael Young to see what he can do to restore it.

Hard to see what’s going on there. Need better pictures. Is it water damage?

Seems like your options are:
1. Repair the dial (the hands look like they could use some love, too)
2. Send to RSC and replace with service dial (and hands)
3. Try to source a vintage dial and matching hands
Best of luck!

A bit more context might help. "Salvageable" is a very subjective term.

I can't tell what's wrong with the dial with these photos.

I think it’s the staining and discoloration around the 11 and 12 markers.

The best option, but also the toughest and most expensive, is to track down a correct matte dial, and you might as well get another set of tritium hands while you’re at it.

All other options mentioned above could work too, but will greatly diminish the value and vintage soul of the watch.

You could also just live with it.

The paint is peeling from the actual dial at the 12 o’clock position

If you can tolerate it until the next service interval comes along, the RSC will likely give you a quote for a replacement dial.

The only other options are a full refinish (not suggested) or mitigation around that area of the dial.
