So this happened today - BLNR
Couldn't take it off last night because the protruding pin wouldn't allow me to open the clasp. Hadad to keep pushing it in during the day until I went to get it fixed and screwed back in.

I feel like every Rolex owner should have a bracelet screwdriver and Loctite 222 on hand. You can never trust an AD to properly size a bracelet with thread lock.
There are numerous threads on screwdrivers, but the Horofix 2100 from esslinger.com is most often referenced. |

So, we all agree that the OP has a screw loose?
LOL. Yeah, just get a tiny screw driver and screw it back in. If you don't have any thread lock, go buy some at an auto parts store and put just a little dab on it. Nice watch...

Have to agree a screw is just a screw and they all operate the same by very simple use of the hands and fingers to turn clockwise to tighten or anticlockwise to unscrew.

A precision screwdriver can fix that in 3 seconds

A couple of suggestions to put some Loctite on the screw...
I understood it is inserted into the thread itself not on the screw - this is from a Rolex service document shown on this site recently. Probably does not make a massive difference but I would always do it the way Rolex suggest! |

The threaded portion of the screw must pass through the outer and center links before it reaches the threaded link at the opposite end. If Loctite were applied to the screw threads, it can deposit Loctite within the links as it passes through. |

In a pinch put some clear nail polish on it. That's what I did to my sub years ago (probably 5ish) and I haven't had one unthread on me since

Good advice - hope it doesn't happen again, but if it does, I'll know what to do! :) |
