If she was referring to the first night, it also depends on the number of invitees who did not attend, or chose to attend another date. It's really hard to say. I believe a whale may be able to ask for multiple pieces, and Patek will approve. Anyway, hope we all get the pieces we want. |

How are people applying for these limited editions? Through ADs in the area?

For some odd reason I keep getting the impression that there's enough watches to go around. The Jubilee Ballroom held 300 guest on the 27th. The odd 50 were related to their various ADs or works for Patek. That's 125 couples - assuming the same number of attendees on the 26th, that's 250 couples. Another (flawed) way to look at this is the number of ADs in each country. I understand Patek assigns the pieces independently of the AD but let's assume that the number of Patek stores in a country is a decent barometer of the size of each market (possibly number of clients that were invited?) and we take the assumption that each market is allocated same. Singapore - 11 (42%) Thailand -7 (27%) Malaysia -4 (15%) Philippines - 2 (7%) Indonesia -1 (4%) Viet nam - 1 (4%) Total - 26 Singapore based clients will be allocated 42% of the LEs which translates to 210 red Aquanauts!! 20 Malaysia based couples attended the dinner on the 27th - 4 flew in on their private jets. If we use the same logic, that's 75 red Aquanauts. I can't help but feel there's plenty to go around. C.f this with the 5522A, they had 600 pieces between 90 retailers. |

Some other interesting printed information from the Watch Art Grand Exhibition magazine: - These limited editions are only meant for Southeast Asian clients of Patek - The red 5167a comes with an additional black strap And here is another photo of the gorgeous 7234a from sg.asiatatler.com which I hope my wife can get: 7234.jpg |

The Chamnong Bhirombhakdi family - weren't they one of six who were allocated the Grandmaster Chime for the 175th Anniversary? I am sure they will get the pick of the crop.
