buying multiple watches to get "special" pieces

I know a lot of people especially my friends in the USA are having their dealers offer them bundles to get special or harder to get pieces. My question to you is, if you have enough money to buy 2 watches and have a dealer you honestly hate and do not want to create a relationship with why not buy, say, a gold day date and a hulk, why not read into the fine print of the store's policies, verify the receipt before purchase to see if returns are accepted and, if they are, purchase both watches are immediately return the gold day date within the return window unused?

Can they force you to return both watches? I know its a dick move but I'm honestly curious how we have not heard people do this before. I know some ADs near me offer 7 day return policies so in theory it might work?

To be clear, I do not condone this, nor have I done this or plan to do this.

No need to go through the trouble. People in a position to buy Rolex watches that they want just go to trusted sellers on here without ever having to step out of their home.

Alternatively, they already buy multiple watches from their preferred AD so just have to wait a while to get what they want.

None of the shops in Toronto will accept a returned watch. The sale is final. Once that sticker comes off, it's yours. If they do accept a return they will put it down in store-credit and then you can get bumped again when buying jewellery or any other items.
