PP Nautilus 3700 vs AP Royal Oak 5402 service cost

It is my understanding that both watches share the same caliber: the JLC 920.

Apparently, very different prices are charged for basic service. Does anyone have experience or information on that?

Who is servicing the 5402? I don't think that A/P is capable of servicing a 5402.

If they can then they should let A/P New York know. I was told that they didn't have parts for 5402A and B service but were hoping to have them soon, which, in watch company time, is six months or more.

The movement in a 5402 is the same as in a 15202. In other words, JLC's vintage 920 caliber is the same as AP's current 2121 movement so parts availability to service these shouldn't be a problem.

That would explain why they don't have any parts left.

AP can service any AP. It may have to go back to HQ though
