Gold Submariner Goldsmiths

There's a full gold Submariner sitting in a window (Nottingham) as of a few hours ago if anyone is interested.

Nothing in goldsmiths oxford. 1 Cellini, lots of 2 tone datejusts and nothing else (not even steel DJ’s). Worst I have ever seen.

It's amazing that when people see a 116618LB on display they get excited. That watch still goes for 21500 GBP all day from greys. They pick it up for 20750-21000.

Even with tax refund you're at 22334. You'd need 10% off this watch from MSRP before it makes sense and the shop will not give that as they will claim "WE ARE STILL THE CHEAPEST IN EUROPE" (And they've been claiming this since the Brexit vote).

No thanks.

Saw one in a Newcastle AD 3 weeks ago. I'd rather get a used one and save 5k!

You can get a new one from greys and save £5k. I had a call last week from my AD for the very same watch. I said I would take it but it would need to be at a meaningful discount. Was offered 5% off. I said I needed 15%. They didn't bite.

Good effort getting 5% off, I've not heard that happening on any Rolex format while.
