I keep coming back to look at those photos. There’s something really special about that watch. It’s official, I have to have one. Congratulations on your purchase and thanks for sharing that.

I think you might mean the bezel sir? Apparently it’s not as fragile as people make it out to be, I guess I will find out

I find the light really affects the colours appearance of the dial and bezel on this watch. Looks great in sunlight!

Why are people so surprised that when light hits the dial, the colors can vary a bit? It's not magic, it's nothing special to Rolex either.

I really do like that Yachtmaster. I think the rhodium dial with blue second hand is even more special.

Yeah before you know it we’ll be discussing straps, other models and AD visits, god damn all these WIS are just talking about watches in depth

We should be taking about club bangers and omelettes @djyolky

I guess if you are used to say a ceramic bezel and a flat finish dial then this watch does behave differently in bright light. The dial is a sunburst so you have the interest of that and the matt dial made from platinum has a warm colour, perhaps not unlike white gold which again can take on different shades according to the light situation. I find the bezel contrast to the stainless steel case and strap changes quite a lot depending on whether the light is warmer or cooler, like say indoor artificial light compared to outdoor sunlight. I don’t see this change with my black dial/bezel Sub and SeaDweller...
