a surprise find - my new gym/training watch (Casio G-Shock)
was out at the shops today and decided to make a little de-tour to a jewellery shop nearby which is also a Casio G-Shock authorised dealer.
i have been thinking about replacing my gym/training watch lately - it is getting old and its lacking the seconds function on the main screen. so i was browsing their Casio collection and spotted this G-Shock. it looked like a decent sized watch for the gym and looked pretty copol with its analogy and digital time functions, and most importantly it has the digital second function on the main screen. http://www.casio.co.uk/Products/Watc...R/At_a_Glance/ i tried on and fell in love with it. it sites right on my wrist and it is very light and the half resin & half fabric strap is very comfy too. i just had to buy it. here comes the best part - while i was happy to pay upto £150 for a new gym/training watch, this one had a RRP of £69.99. upon scanning the bar code at the cashier, the sale assistant told me that they have a promotion going on at the moment, so this G-Shock is now only £34.99 - what a bargin (on top of that, it has a WR rating of 200m ) anyway, wore it to the gym this evening and gave it a "work out", it had my thumbs up and very pleased with the surprise find. here are some more pix. apparently this has 29 cities time display - i have only setup Sydney time. it has a Day function as well (toggle between Date and Day displays) the backlite display |

Congratulations on your Casio G Shock. I have owned one for the past 13 years or so and they are just so reliable and indestructible.

it is an awesome gym watch me thinks (for now anyway). had a few people checking it out the other day while i was working out at the gym - it must be the analog hands ontop of the digital numbers thats confusing them one minor problem though - my wrist size is between hole 6 and 7 |

I have also had one since 1999, and it is the most durable watch out there.
