Goodness gracious!! No one said it was exciting news!! He was just posting a pic of an athlete sporting the Daytona, thats all. Yes we all know you dont like the Daytona, we’ve heard it a hundred times. I dont feel the need to pop into every post when someone is talking about a generic Tudor and talk about how bland and boring it is. Jeez.....

Good luck here getting new opinions or ideas, or actual conversations, unless it's a copy/pasted composition on technical specifications or historical reference timeline. of course, extremely valuable information that we're all grateful for, but basically a sticky or reference guide. Not exactly thought provoking dialogue.

Otherwise, It's all the same negativity and talk of internet hype, fantasy world, fake market, sliver of ceramic, morons paying over retail talk, we always hear. Mostly off topic and unsolicited too lol. It's brought up just as much as shortage and value retention threads.

I will go on record in saying TRF has a new wave of “snarky” and “sanctimonious” attitude the past year. It has to be new blood doing this as this crap was never this in-your-face in the days of JJ and our tech talks. Even when the occasional Omega vs Rolex” threads would heat up, there were still educated adults in the end.

Haters everywhere. I just don't get it.

Why bother complaining? Just hate on your own time. This is a forum about watches. More specifically, this is a forum about Rolex watches. So yeah, when a celebrity (don’t even know who he is) is on the cover a magazine wearing a Rolex, one of the most popular Rolex’s, it makes perfect sense to post it.

No need to bash it. No need to make the OP feel badly about it. Embrace the reality of it, or move on. I have a Men’s Health at home recently delivered that has the cover guy wearing a sub. I almost posted it. Kind of glad I didn’t. Who needs the hate? Not me.

Life is short. There will always be things we don’t like. Might as well move on by and make the most of the time we have.

You are correct.

JJ was a great SUPPORTER of TRF.

And I miss him a lot.

I’m a fan of KD...nice to see him wearing the Daytona. I saw Joc Pederson from the dodgers rocking the same one the other day on IG.

I actually think it's pretty cool he's wearing the same (not that expensive, relative to his wealth) watch today as he was three years ago - in contrast to other celebs who have a million blinged out pieces. Seems very Kevin Durant of him!

Tough crowd.
Suddenly, posting celebs with Rolex in the wild is taboo.
