YM 2 Problem
I have bought YM 2 yellow gold since 5 years ago.
When I bought the product in singapore, the reset chrono pusher seems doesnt work well, when I press it, it returns not at 12 o clock position, instead sometimes it go only to 1-2 o clock positition. When I press once again (second time), it returns to 12 o clock position. Strange thing is, if i push very hard the reset chrono pusher, it returns to 12 o clock position. I ask the AD in singapore, he said this is normal because it is not chronograph, it is for yacht function. Today I see the video in youtube, the chrono reset pusher always return to 12 o clock. either u press it softly or hardly it must comeback to 12 o clock position. Should i service this YM to rolex service center? or should I fix it to watch maker outside rolex? |

Talk to Rolex service center. Your AD at Singapore gave you totally wrong information. This is **not** normal. This watch is certainly a chronograph - no question. Tell RSC that this problem was there from the beginning --- if you are lucky they may fix it for free.

You've bought the YM2 five years ago? New or used? Sounds like its due for a service. With the YM2's unique complication it should go back to RSC not a third party watchmaker.

It sounds like you got some bad info from the start. I agree with others. You should have that piece checked out by RSC.

Yes, bad info from the start. the AD said it is normal because this is not the normal chronograph. The info makes me spent more $$$ to repair.
