Has anybody seen the Seiko Prospex LX SNR033 GMT in person?
It's a beautiful watch!
https://www.fratellowatches.com/seik...lx-snr033-gmt/ But at its price (~$5000), its blurred the lines between Seiko and Grand Seiko. GS has a similar watch (SBGE201) for pretty close to the same price. https://www.grand-seiko.com/us-en/collections/sbge201g Thoughts? |

I was able to try SNR033 on in Japan last week. It is a very nice watch but it just didn't feel like a $5000 watch to me. I also handled a SBGE201 and that watch looked/felt like it was worth the $5800, and then some.
Of all the LX models I like the SNR025J1 the best. But again, not at $5k. https://www.seikowatches.com/global-...ospex/snr025j1 Randy |

Great watch but the bezel has no ratchet mechanism which was a deal killer for me.

I picked up the SNR035 and have not been able to get it off the wrist since. The no-click bezel did bother me at first, but with time and use I have come to appreciate it. The resistance it gives when turning is somehow quite satisfying.
