One local AD has been trying to sell me one of these for 3 months ever since i asked him for a SS. His last offer to me was almost 18% off MSRP

I paid the same watch at my locate AD for $10,050 3 weeks ago. I'm very happy with that purchased event known that there is less for BNIB in Gray Market. It's still a lot of $$$$ either way. But I'm sleep better at night knowing that my TT Daytona is created from Rolex to my AD and to me! Building a relationship with the AD owner and peace of mind is important to me. My 2 cents.

I doubt it if it is new....why would you have an appraisal papers if its new? .. and if its new.. the warranty should come from Rolex not from the store...

Great deal. it is very tempting. It should be noted however, that it is a "Z" series. That being said...if I was currently in the market for one (will be soon for this exact type)..I wouldn't hesitate to grab it. You could pay the higher prices at the AD...but I'd rather save huge on the grey market and use that money to buy another watch.

$8500 is likely a fair price for a like new in box TT. I have seen them as low as 7500 in Dallas. The TT just to date, has not held it's price like the SS models. I hope as a TT owner that changes soon. Last year a Basel TT watches from all makes were said to be making a come back after being down for about ten years. I bought my TT Daytona in the summer of 98 and paid 6K tax included, seems that retail at the time was 7.5 to 8K. So the new price has shot up with the price of gold but the hit out the door is almost like buying a new car!

Its a Z series and as such has been sitting unsold at an AD for a couple of years or so. Thats why the cheaper price, the MSRP has more then a couple of price increases since it was new to the AD(read: Z-series is not the same MSRP as now).

I still wear my DSSD with all stickers on. Also, the plastic stickers covering the exterior of the clasp have been off too.
