Good article analyzing the case behind Rolex's recent lawsuit against laCalifornienne (pointing out that if Rolex wins, in addition to monetary damages, all of leCal's inventory could be destroyed) I think brands like laCal are good for the watch industry as a whole, so long as they're not still using the original name of the watch their modifying. |

Rolex Irony that I am sure lacal will use in their defense, https://www.artisansdegeneve.com/en/ approved by Rolex to modify (butcher?) their watches. Whats the difference? ADG are authorized and lacal are not? I think that Rolex may have opened a can of worms with this overzealous lawsuit that will prove difficult to litigate, especially if the judiciary forum is California.
