My latest watch

Another to add to my pocket watch collection, this one's a Dunhill pocket watch with a Langendorf 17 jewel movement, with very minor spotting on the dial. I especially like the date window at 6:00 and the shape of the bow.

I absolutely LOVE Dunhill. In fact, that was my first non-Russian (Soviet) automatic watch, the Bobby Finder. This is what got me:

"The term Bobby Finder is an Alfred Dunhill original. In the early part of the 20th century Alfred was pulled over for speeding and issued a ticket. Even though he wasn't the driver, he was upset enough for his driver that he invented, then applied for a patent for the worlds first fuzz buster. What he invented was an ordinary looking set of driving goggles with stealthily-built-in set of binoculars. These were available at "Dunhill's Motorities Store." "Motorities," was a term Mr. Dunhill used to describe items essential for safe, pleasant and efficient motoring (definitely his primary passion). Here was the copy from his original ad: "DUNHILLS' BOBBY FINDERS (PATENT APPLIED FOR) WILL SPOT A POLICEMAN AT HALF A MILE, EVEN IF DISGUISED AS A RESPECTABLE MAN."

HOW FUNNY IS THAT!

I do not think Id really spend the money for a Dunhill watch
BUT I buy their cigar items all the time.

The caseback on the Bobby Finder watch is great though!
