Question on earlier version DJII - Jubilee Won't Fit?

I was speaking to my AD about ordering a Super Jubilee for my Datejust.

It is the previous version 2014 reference 116334 on an oyster with blue sticks and a fluted bezel.

He came back to me and said the Jubilee wouldn't fit? Is that accurate?

AFAIK, the DJII hasn't had any sizing adjustments. The Jubilee which is available on the newer ones should fit yours as well.

I thought the DJ41 jubilee does not fit the DJII? Thought someone tried that on TRF and it didn't work

Yeah, that's what my AD said...said it does not fit. I tried to search for the thread and couldn't locate it...I try not to endlessly duplicate threads

So consensus is...... DJ41 Jubilee does not fit on Datejust II?

It's too bad. I would consider buying a jubilee bracelet for my DJII if it worked. Would be cool to switch off with it every now and then

Yeah, it's a frustrating predicament.

Happens to me the watch I got from my inlaws for our wedding...so...probably unwise to flip out to the newer version where you can flip between oyster and jubilee - I like the slightly smaller indexes much more on the DJ41 too. Ah well.

I assume also DJII oyster won't fit on DJ41 too for the same reasons.

The DJII is a fantastic watch and if it was a gift I'd probably hang onto it. I have considered flipping mine for a 41 several times (see my current thread about it) but every time I come back to the II. I just personally prefer the extra diameter and heft to it over the 41 for my wrist. If you go try a 41 on you will immediately notice the difference in size. Some folks prefer the proportions on the new ones, others the old one.
