Tridor King Midas

I happened across this image, which I thought might be of interest. I assume Rolex was proud of its metallurgical accomplishment in making the Tridor Day-Date bracelets, and made this tricolor-gold variation of the King Midas in the same 80s period.

The asymmetrical King Midas was already an odd duck, but I’ve never seen this Tridor variant before. I wonder if they made a matching diagonal-striped Tridor-Midas bracelet, shaped like the standard one? That would be a sight ...

The pink stripe left hand side doesn't go through the side of the case.

Looks like its been done by a kid with a crayon kit. Photoshop maybe, what ever its certainly vomit inducing.

Found this one, not too bad but no Tridor

During that search, found a couple that are pretty retro cool.

Well let’s see ‘em!

I love seeing all of the “What were they thinking?” stuff ...
