Got my new 16613 today

Well, after selling my rarely used 16610 from 2005, i needed another rolex. A sports model with a bit more style..

16613 was the solution, with black face.

I really love it..

Oh, and to my surprise, i saw that the bracelet has tubes where the screws goes thru. Anyone know when Rolex started with that on the TT bracelets ?

A few pics, better will come...

Congrats

Your point about tubes in the links is very interesting to me too

Until a few days ago I did not realise that here were small steel tubes (sleeves) that fit inside the holes of the links and serve as some kind of bearing between the link and the link fixing screw.

I too am interested to hear if anyone has any information on these tubes. I just discovered this on my 16622 Yacht-Master.

Yeah, it's a nice feature. More or less eliminating the stretch problem, since the gold is'nt in direct contact with screws......And, the tubes can be changed at any time

Very nice watch I think it is tubes in all TT bracelets. I have in mine 16613 and not in my 16610LV. The use of tubes is because the screw wearing on the gold. (sorry about my english)
