scratched/ worn watch megathread

I posted a similar thread before and there was not much traction unfortunately.

I rather like seeing other peoples worn watches with signs of use rather than pictures of perfect new condition watches which is what most people post on here.

I think times are changing watches are babied too much nowadays

I agree. Every new watch looks the same as every other one. these worn/ beaten up ones look really unique and shows the character that it has developed through the years of use.

They are meant to be worn and enjoyed. Scratches, dents are inevitable no matter how anyone babied them. Simply wiping with proper cloth can scratch polished surface. I’ve learned to accept it.

Not sure about the Sub but that Panerai at the end is a fake

Almost forgot about this one...

I met the owner of this awesome sub on a flight a few months back. His mother bought it for him in 1971. He wears it every day.

Love this thread and I agree wholeheartedly that work watches are so much better to look at!

So makes you think that the Sub might be fake as well. Not too many collectors with real high end watches will buy a fake of any brand
